The Word Alone Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Word Alone

Rating: 5.0

I hate the word,
Alone,
It's like a painful moan,
For there is nothing worse,
It's like a lonely curse,
That steals your life, your home,
When you are All Alone.

Yes, you're absolutely right alone has that mournful sound inside of it. I had not heard it before now. But I actually like ALONETIME so I don't react in the same way. I remember a character in a movie saying, Solitude is a lover who will never leave and break your heart. Hmmm.
