The Window That Is I Poem by Bullion Grey

The Window That Is I

Rating: 5.0

I live as a transparent,
without eyes, yet, others look through.
In the night, the inside light glow
Out, to the velvet dark view.
During day it’s anew, with all eyes
Looking through. Birds, squirrels, cats and bugs,
Along with the loving couple living inside.
I am a square of translucent smooth,
Held in a wood to hold me with glue.
I live as transparent glass year after year,
I am an in or out place to peer,
I am your window, that is me.
