The Window's Collage Poem by Singleton M. Tate

The Window's Collage

Looking through the mirror,
Of purple veils... of tales.
Reminds me of my memories,
Distant patterns...Time knew well.

Waking to the morning,
White lilies... blue jay's swing,
Listening to a heart,
That can't feel a single thing.

Clinging to the sunlight,
Basking in the rain,
Wondering in the shadows,
Of pages torn in vain.

Guard the window's riches,
Seal the promise in lace,
House, I see you clearly,
Vanishing without a trace.

Unicorn fly me swiftly,
To the ocean's shore,
Dreams of mortal bliss,
Cinderella's soul he bore.
