The Willow Poem by Gianni Pintus

The Willow

The prairie was ever so green,
the sun was shining through,
the hills ever so high,
a wonderful shadow,
in the blue sky.

The daises were growing,
tall and ever so loving,
dandelion and rose,
smiling so bright.
and ready to pick.

Then you appear,
like a dream,
come from,
far way,
appear in this,
meadow,
like gold shadow,
in the great warm,
horizon.

Your shining hair,
kept me still.
you tall figure,
kept me real,
suddenly,
the trees,
started to talk,
suddenly,
we started,
to walk.

The lake,
shines,
towards us,
like a,
magic mirror,
you pale skin,
smell so good,
it was,
a dream come true,
to sit down,
with you,
hand to hand,
under the might,
old willow.
