The White Kitten Beside Me....



beside me is this
white kitten with mellow
eyes
and sonorous purring

perhaps she thinks
(if ever she thinks at all)

her
constant
caressing of my
arms
must be
pleasurable

her claws and
teeth
are sharp
and danger lurks in
her dirty
tongue
