The Whistling Wind Poem by Jeff Fleischer

The Whistling Wind

Rating: 4.0

The wind whistles and howls
While the rain falls like teardrops.
The trees sway back and forth.
Their leaves fluttering to the ground.
The flowers overflow with rainwater,
As the birds fly high above the willows.
I see the sleet mounting from my window,
As I draw circles on the windowpane.
I wish for a sunny day and a moonlit night.
