The Way Of All Life Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Way Of All Life

Rating: 5.0

Life gives,
And is taken away,
In a second, in a minute,
In a day,
Will it really help,
If I pray?

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Sandra, I heard a line in one of my favorite sports movies, RUDY that, after all these years as a Roman Catholic, I had never heard, not once, from a real priest as opposed to the actor in the movie who was playing the role as a priest at Notre Dame University... Rudy, was praying long & hard at the University Chapel in hopes to be admitted into ND, and spent hours each week praying for help from the Almighty...The Priest (who he had befriended earlier in the film) sits down to talk to Rudy, and Rudy suggests that perhaps he wasn't praying hard enough...The Priest chuckles, and says., No, I don't think that 's the problem at all...(HE WENT ON...) You have to understand something, son...We pray to God on our time...God answers them on His...I love that line! And I love yer' brief, yet very compendious verse, young lady!

Well, its written: God listens to prayer! Then maybe you ought to pray, Sandra. Thanks for sharing!
