The Waves Of A Woman's Soul Poem by Katherine H. Belle

The Waves Of A Woman's Soul

Rating: 5.0

There is a certain sadness behind her eyes
I can see there, the deep blue oceans waves
Lapping ever so gently
Just beyond her tear filled lids
Barely beneath her outstretched lashes
Like seafoam and waves
On the distant shores of her soul
And I should like to sail those waves
Ride them to the center of her being
And hold her soul in the palm of my hands
And quiet the raging storm
I should like to part the clouds
Like Moses, the sea
And let the sun spill
Into every shadow filled corner
And show her how to shine from within
