The Water Cried Out Poem by Wolkine Stany

The Water Cried Out

I lay flat on the couch
Then I heard voices and began to crouch
I heard the voices of many and it sounded like the water cried
Eyes half open, my lips began to dry
There I was hearing voices, that I couldn't deny
They spoke to me, but I couldn't understand
It was multiple voices trying to give me commands
I gave an open ear as I heard the water fall
Crying out to me sounding like an echo in the halls
I sat on the couch clueless barely awake
The water cried out, but I couldn't get the point it tried to make
