The Void Poem by Catherine Yen

The Void

The Void

The animal instincts
Including death
Are more powerful than people’s
More sincere
They never laughed
But shaking the tails
The eyes are full of sorrow
Reveal the premonition of days’ end

Human tends to self-deception
Let the eyes
Flashing the tiny glisten of joy
Blurred the inevitable vanishing around
Human with a pair hands of love and hatred
The hand of friendship grasps tightly to each other
The hand of hatred let people struggled to fight
Love and hate, understanding and mental barrier
But the sour quarry

The cold curiosity
Watching the human’s tragedy
Poems writing is like the wolves roar
The victim
Refused to cry
When revive the vanished glance of life
Time is not hasty
The intimacy is like the bark of tree clings to its body
