The love that brought us together
The life that bound us forever
Now in ruins, for all the causes
Of love and life that come to us

Now I fret this matter
For I know everything will never grow better
Because your love, my dear, is turning cold
For this I feel insecure and sad

I ask myself every now and then….why?
Have I done something wrong which made you cry?
Do I hurt your feeling so often?
That made you change so sudden?

This I expect you to say the truth
And I want you to be frank and true
So, beloved, confess everything you hate in me
And I promise to understand every bit you say to me

And a time for us will again stay
For you and me again be gay
No matter how, we will again be together
And our love will again be filled with wonder
