The best way to understand the value of patience
Is to witness its outcome on our life.
David was just a boy when he learned to wait
As should every man, woman, child, husband and wife.


The Lord chose David to be king of Israel
As King Saul become jealous and desired to kill him.
David spent years hiding to sustain His life
In the wilderness where his future seemed grim.

David had the strength to stand for God
Even when he saw no signs of support.
How many times have we failed God's blessing
Because of our craving for sins of all sort?

The path of obedience is not always easy
In fact it can be overwhelming and stressful.
The joys of life come from God's gift of patience
Teaching us to forgiving, loving and grateful.
