The Value Of A Friend Poem by Lloyd Savage

The Value Of A Friend

How do you figure
The true value of a friend;
A one whose love
just never ends?

They keep on going
On and on,
Like the prettiest words
Of the sweetest songs.

You can't grow tired
A bit at all;
At good friends like that
As I recall.

So never try to figure
The value of such a friend,
Just enjoy and enjoy them
Right to the end!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I admire friends who have friends, let us all be a friend in some way. The solution I think if there is a political difference is to start with the children first allowing them to be friends, then when they become leaders they will all be friends. Are you someone's friend. Remember the friend you make today may be the one who could save your life tommorrow.
