Hope
every soul needs it
however it comes
whatever guise it fits
for some its the little things
a good day at the office
that promotion sought
a win for the sports team
for others its bigger
beating the odds
overcoming illness
or a lottery win
to retire early
to manage good health
to not have to worry
without hope
taking away that word
hope
what would remain
its unthinkable
