The Universe Poem by ROGEL FRANCIS SORIOSO

The Universe

Rating: 5.0

One day God realize that he was lonely
So he decides to create a family
Planets and stars they became
Each one having it's own name
Then he created the planet earth
Where humanity was given birth
A man and woman to share affection
Yes out of love and not perfection
He wanted different colors and faces
So he created both on different places
He created joy, love and lust
Not from science but from dust
The universe became his kingdom
Where he gave humanity their freedom
They watch the action and drama that was happening
They all laugh or cry as they were listening
They celebrate the victory and mourn the defeat
As they watch their hero try to compete
So the once lonely King is full of pleasure
For humanity is now his greatest treasure
A TRIBUTE TO MY FATHER...ABRAHAM LINCOLN
