The Unicorn And Me Poem by Alesia Leach

The Unicorn And Me

There he stands in mystic wonder,
white as snow and elegant splendor,
eyes as blue as the sky up yonder.

Silently he moves across the glade,
a silent breeze ruffling his mane,
before boldly glancing my way.

In his eyes there is no fear,
as he circles closer, ever near.
Is that a hunter we both hear?
There, see their spears.

Gracefully bowing before me,
Invited to join him on his journey.
To a land where he is free
and can slumber peacefully.

Through the forest we flee,
the unicorn and me.
