The Unicorn Poem by Mockingjay Mellark

The Unicorn

She stands so still and alert
Her head is cocked to hear
Her delicate nostrils flare
About her the snow looks like dirt

She blows out soft warm breath
Her horn is so beautiful
Nothing about her is dull
She lowers her great white head

Her eyes are wide and full of trust
She looks as though she smiles
With a face as full of the content of a young child
She glorifies even the surrounding dust
