The Two Whites Poem by MOHAMMAD SKATI

The Two Whites

The two whites are simply The salt and its mate the sugar, They are both closer friends Though they taste different, They enjoy us together and They hurt us together anytime, We love them too much in our Pretty foods and in everything, If you don't need salt in this Food you might need sugar in other foods, We like to add too much salt to Our foods, but we forget its harm, We like to add too much sugar to Our drinks and anything else, Salt and sugar are two lovely Things, but they harm together too, The two whites hurt and harm our Sugar rates and our blood pressures, We, by time being, will suffer Their bad results as long as we take Too much salt and too much sugar anytime, The more we take the two whites The more we suffer their deadly reasons, and Greatly we need to minimize them As much as we can until we abandon them.
