The Two So

Where is the power of the mind?
In thoughts I`d like to say!
About the heart, where`s found the care?
In its core; yes, there, there!

I say it with a poet`s tongue
For it is the best language
To wrap truths with sweet
Killing its sister Philosophy
That at time is very stern
And does push out the reader.

Poem of the Day

poet John Gay

Friendship, as love, is but a name,
Save in a concentrated flame;
And thus, in friendships, who depend
On more than one, find not one friend.
