The Turning Point Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

The Turning Point

The turning point is when you start looking in
And you stop checking on the faults of others
Forsaking the weighing of all others' sin
You finally realize that you are no better.

For the malicious tongue and pointing finger
Cloud the eyes from knowing the Truth
God does not appoint us as fruit inspectors,
But we are to be bearers producing His fruit.

Position in the kingdom is just an empty word,
For in heaven our only position will be kneeling-
For the Word will be there, reigning Savior and LORD
We will fall prostrate, in humility, worshiping!

God is not so blind as to need some reporters,
He knows each one of us and He deals with Justice.
He will discipline, correct and sure He will never
Be swayed by appearances, because all Truth is His.
