The Tree Of Life Poem by greg richardson

The Tree Of Life

Oh protector
of the tree of life
Can you keep back
the flames
that threaten
our very souls?
I pray you can
and I will assist
We will fight
our way through
the burning mist
until we find the cause
of all of this.
And when every tendril
of the fire is gone
we will dance
on the blackened earth
for we have saved
the universe.
