The Tree Poem by Raven Black

The Tree

Hold me
against you
my shelter
my resistance
is breaking down
and as strong
as I am
you are
the bones
on which I stand...

Day after day
I dream We are
as single
and total
as any entity
can be
One complete
in the other
endlessly...

And it seems
no matter
how the wind
blows
nor how deep
and low
it bends on me
you will find
this little Raven
clinging
for life
to her tree
