The Tree Poem by John Mccudden

The Tree

Rating: 5.0

look at the tree as it bends in the breeze
listen to its wispering leaves
a story to tell if you listen well

knowledgeabale tree full of wisdom for me
tell me your secrets and the things you have seen
beauitful tree with leaves so green
please tell me the things you have seen

i bend and i flow with the wind as i go
i never say yes i never say no
i bend and i flow with the wind as i grow

so ask your questions ask out loud
the answers i give are floating in the clouds

to give you the answers the secrets would be told
and the answers i would no longer hold
so ask the grass for the answers you seek
whispering grass O so weak

This is a great piece. I love the line i bend and i flow with the wind as i go i never say yes i never say no i bend and i flow with the wind as i grow If only we could be like that. Easy going in everything, no worries, just go with the flow. I aslo love the end, to give you the answers the secrets would be told and the answers i would no longer hold so ask the grass for the answers you seek whispering grass O so weak A smart-alic remark. lol! It's a great answer. Why would you tell all your secrets when after it's done, you wont be the only one that knows anymore!
