The Train Poem by Rajesh Thankappan

The Train

Rating: 5.0

The train
Rumbled on unfamiliar terrains
And I
A passenger
Watched the emerging contour
As horizons after horizons
Revealed its implicit secrets
Throwing up surprises.
Slowly, but surely
I was lost in surreal reveries
Until awakened suddenly
To the train
Of my rambling thoughts.

The analogy of the monotonous rhythm of the train - revealing new horizons, with your thoughts - revealing new vistas is absolutely beautiful.

So beautifully written, you paint a vivid picture with great choice of words, as the horizons unfolding before you stir up dreams and rambling thoughts!

A lovely description of a train journey when new vistas emerge before our eyes and new terrains skim past our view! Train journey is always a lovely experience with many surprises thrown about! !
