The Tragedy Of Gaza Poem by Zillur Rahman Shuvro

The Tragedy Of Gaza

Israel! You've right to save yourself
But have no right to kill the children
It's deemed you're killing Muslims
But not killing men.
This is not the question of conscience,
This is the question of civilization
What's their fault? And what's their wrong?
The heavenly children those're like butterflies.
Hey! War-monger, you ask your baby
If he or she gives license to kill
You kill them as your wish.
You're destroying hundreds and hundreds buildings
Damn! Those will be built again and birds will sing again
But the lives of those old people have been fallen
Would they come back? Would they grope their bifocal glasses?
Hey! The enemy of humanity! You ask your old parent
If they give permission…you kill them.
Genocide is nonstop in the valley of death!
Loud lamentation is nonstop in the valley of death!
The perverted laugh of Satan is nonstop in the valley of death!
The dead body of son is on the shoulder of father
And the dead body of father is on the shoulder of son—
How tragedy for mankind! Beyond description!
But wearing brazen glass so-called world is ignorantly silent!
What's mystery! Look at the sun. It's crying to shame!
Gosh! Those hypocrites shout for humanity and civilization
It's true like stone they're the killer of humanity.
