The Time Is Near Poem by George Howard

The Time Is Near

By GeorgeHoward 05.2010
When I look at all the hurt and anger in the world. I sometimes despair.
All the lies and deceit, in the name of religion and injustice, which in itself becomes unjust.
Evil is like a red hot poker, sometimes, you can see it, sometimes you can feel it near.
But every time you are not able to grasp it!
But love is a fluid thing, it flows from person to person, like a river, it will gather momentum.
Until at the very end a calm gentle flow will exist.
Love is like water, grip your hand tightly, as it flows to you, trying to keep it for yourself, and you are left with nothing but drops.
But hold it gently and let it trickle out, and you will always be left with plenty.
We must all learn to love and accept love, for if we do not, we will be lost forever.
The time is near.
