The Time Has Come Poem by Emily James

The Time Has Come

You'll get yours in the end
the righteous always prevail
Your dishonesty will all come out
as you continue to tell your tale
As fate will have it you will crash
fall to your bitter demise
You can't fool everyone all of the time
no longer can you keep your disguise
You've played us both, as the puppeteer
you pull our strings as we grin
But no longer will we succumb to you
it's time for you to feel chagrin
So get ready dear one, to face your fate
it's time now, you will see
I loved you once and so did he
and now you'll have neither him nor me.

'I loved you once, and so did he' - I think he'd better get his sexuality right. J.
