The Threat Of Global Warming Poem by Francis Duggan

The Threat Of Global Warming

The threat of global warming to human kind is a real threat indeed
And the warnings of climate change experts we'd do best for to heed
Dirty factory chimneys to the sky puffing up smoke
The anger of Nature why do we provoke?
In a World of six billion people and millions of trucks and cars
And in an age when humans through technology have explored in vain for life on Mars
For to combat global warming we could do much more
But the warnings of climate change experts most Governments ignore
Global warming is for real that would seem fair to say
And the children of the future for our mistakes must pay
But cleaner air and water we can help to create
And to combat global warming it is not too late
The burning of fossil fuels and carbon emissions is poisoning the air
And the scourge of pollution is rampant everywhere.
