The Temple Of Sacred Fires Poem by Atthis Rose

The Temple Of Sacred Fires

Fierce and true with love’s loyal flame brave hearts blaze
Bright and bold in sacred hearths sacred fires burn
Fragrant sweet like incense clouds high so they rise- sweet, bold, true and fierce

Brave and bold with sacred love sacred hearts blaze
Strong and deep like Eternal flames Immortal
Beauty blooms fresh Amaranth’s hope Undying-beautiful and brave

Strong and deep our sisters’ love Enduring
Firm and true In Sacred fires forged Unbending
As tempered-steel are these my friends Unflinching-loyal, firm and strong

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This Poem is a Sapphic verse composed by Ruth, a Character in my upcoming book. This verse is dedicated to the devoted love and loyalty of her closest friends who stood by her during the most difficult points of her debilitating illness. I consider this one my best works.
