The Tales Of Emeraude

The Tales of Emeraude

I. Eyes of Emeraude

No matter how hard she tried she couldn't get the smell of him out of her skin,
His blood tasted sweet and pure,
but she denied her lust and his angel breath within,
She thought she was trapped upon his dreams but was unsure.

How did he find his way to her she wondered,
What had made her so different or special,
His heart was heavy and dark it whispered to her upon thunder,
Each time she heard his voice she fell.

Upon her knees she had begged him to stay,
Though she desperately wanted him to leave,
She cursed him but loved him in a delusional way,
It was with every inch of his aura she tried to retrieve.

Without him she couldn't breathe,
But he was far too dark for her to control or obtain,
Only through his eyes could she see,
Inside his soul is where she lived and would remain.

She was his blushing new bride,
Waiting for him to sing her a lullaby,
They danced away into the night's ocean tide,
But he couldn't speak less sing for his presence and their love story only existed within her own eyes.

II. Grave of Emeraude

As you have looked upon me throughout the years,
We have all unfortunately shared more than a few tears.

My light has grown dim and my sight has lost its vision,
Then the time comes when my breath begins to weaken.

I speak these words slowly as my faded lips try to speak the words clearly,
Countless stories that I still haven't told you honestly.

My words do not appear as they once did before,
See my face and my lifeless body for the last time before you close my coffin door.

Who knows how long the door shall remain closed,
Unwanted death wishes, delicate wisdoms, and a new future is proposed.

Given this introduction I must say the hand I was dealt was certainly with slight intrusion,
A somber knock from a mortal ending of death's birth was found in its own confusion.

But with what empathy for myself shall I owe this foreign hypocrisy,
That has been brought before me from the hidden truth of Immortality.

III. Emeraude's Ghost

I cannot even began to count the days,
Of all the days spent in our careless ways.

You were everything to me that consisted of light,
The moon belonged within your soul upon the night.

We spoke of things that we wouldn't regret,
And shared our deepest, darkest, loneliest secrets.

I never once had clue or thoughts that we would part,
It all came so sudden that you were never truly my entire heart.

Who knows how long the clock of time will keep us separated,
I have felt your presence until the moments when they were faded.

I can feel your world slipping further away the more I try to stay,
For it is my new birth that's calling me as time travels beyond us and away.

I wished that you could touch, see or even hear me from the gateways of heaven from above,
If I could only be the wings of an angel, I would wrap my wings around you and never let you go so that I know you will always be safe and loved!

IV. Emeraude's Blood (Risen)

As I woke today I remembered the story
It wasn't that long ago I found myself in the kingdom of glory
The Masters began to come out of the dark and play
A masterpiece was presented unto them all as a royal ballet
They gathered together from the shadows of the night
Waiting beneath the moon with their tempered fangs among fall's twilight
Milky white faces sat in the forest just below the trees
Fireflies were the only light that lit the darkness on that Hallow's Eve
Bloodthirsty dwellers lingered as the audience waited for the sacred ball
Behind the curtains of the stars they came one by one like porcelain dancing dolls
Each ballerina that came was more beautiful than the last
These were chronicles once written from a time within my past
It reminded me of the mysteries that occurred upon Everlast
Once when Emeraude was alive, she built a castle the mud
There were secrets of the living dead that spoke of enchanted blood
Fallen Trees swayed before the moon much like a night as this one
A child was then born from the Spirit World and it was a curse that couldn't be undone
Once the unborn child could see through her mother's eyes
Inside the eyes of Emeraude an Immortal breed began to rise
It all came forth from the Illusions of what Emeraude's soul had seen
The future told the tales of things to come that were to be intertwined but not intervened
Her Masters Fortress became the Haunted Castle that no one could ever forget
An Immortal Empire that was built by Emeraude's bare hands which shadowed her Silhouette
It was a place in which we all had lived our fantasies
There was magic upon its stones, in the walls, and among places unseen
Within our dreams we traveled to the unknown
Of the worlds that only Emeraude created for our souls
Her dying declaration would be revived according to the truth
For Emeraude always knew that the answer was buried in her own roots
Born from her blood this child between the candle light
Only her daughter could resurrect her in séance during the anniversary of that night
For seventeen years the tradition has remained
Since the tragic death of Emeraude each year a ceremony was held in her name
The charmed ones gather together in remembrance around the Grave of Emeraude
Sweet memories of her begin to fill the autumn air until we witnessed Emeraude's Ghost
Music escaped unto the Octobre to tell the legacy that none of you will ever forget
Willows danced in Emeraude's Blood with the ballerina marionettes
It was then that I recalled the day when Emeraude had closed her eyes
We were all murdered there within the temple of the forest by our own demise
As I dreamt today I dreamed about the night much like this that came
When the Masters of the dark waited upon Emeraude's child, Samantha was her name
So we gathered there at midnight like all the times before that night on Halloween
Waiting for the fairest princess, the only heiress of the empire to be seen
Upon the shadows came a powder skinned porcelain dancing ballerina doll as she danced to the Immortal Symphony
Samantha's shadow danced upon the moonlit sky in her white dress, her blood drenched fangs could be seen under the forest of the Fallen Trees
The magic from Emeraude's Blood had finally released us all from this prison
These were the stories at Everlast, where secrets dwell from the magic that has Risen.

V. Illusion

Can you still remember the way I taste,
Seen beyond everywhere you've been within this place.

The silhouettes of dreams are the secrets that live within me,
Truth has been found by the tokens left as they see.

Those without time you have taken,
Things that linger are known by what they've stolen.

Mysteries of the Spirit World remain hidden,
I've always known about them and their skeletons.

Empathetic am I upon the final chapter,
Being identified as the lonely outsider.

Naked are we in our own confessions,
Misery tastes the blood from their emotions.

Shown by the mirrors that were once just a dream,
Like an intruder you came into my soul unseen.

I found you behind the unlocked doors of the Haunted Castle,
Behind the Fallen Trees where secrets are often told.

I was the voice that I heard from the Grave of Emeraude as the moon's eternal shadows were cast,
For it was there when I first told my Immortal secrets of the magical mysteries upon Everlast.

VI. Fallen Trees

When I wake in the fallen trees
I can finally smile once again
This magical forest echoes in the leaves
Dreams come alive upon this land

Stars blow free in the open air
I can go anywhere upon this place
My imagination will take me there
I can stay lost here for days

Before I realized hours had passed
Then the days had also went
Once upon a land without time would last
So many years I had traveled and spent

Upon a fairy-tale that I knew
That would always be
In my heart I believed it true
Taken where my mind would see

When I speak of it I do not think
Any more of myself nor any less
For it all began among a tiny blink
No need for any other soul to witness

What I knew in my soul to be real
Within a mere blink of an eye
Every emotion in the world I could feel
Inside of who I was before I die

I am guided by the forest
From my very own mind
I have forgotten all the rest
With any ideas that I find

This is what new creations and worlds are for
Found among the voices of the fallen willows that call
If I had only knew what I always knew once before
As the new born stars grant wishes by trees that fall

VII. Everlast

I brought you home
Cleaned all your wounds
I sang you a song
Sucked all of the poison within
I am the one you've chosen

Kept you safe from the dark
Until you became alive
As you opened your eyes
You were my everything
Then you grew angel wings

Isn't it just like you thought
I tasted your blood
Whenever you fell asleep
We've seen where it all began
Until we saw the end

Then we both realized
That we've never been
Any more alive
I watched as you were born
Upon my very soul untorn

Two hearts were one
Unforced but untamed
There as we lay
Untainted by our weakness
We asked for forgiveness

I see your soul for everything
That it could ever be
You saw the life within us
Which my eyes had seen
For the first time in centuries

VIII. Haunted Castle

Ten years ago a mistaken vow was made
We were just young teens looking for fun
Not knowing how what was forbade
Soon our fate stroke by the hour of one

Upon our anniversary we would meet again
Though we have not seen each other in years
It was nice to see an old friend
We held each other as we wiped our tears

For the memories of that place returns
Of the day that everything changed
Secrets within my mind it burns
Haunting of the forbidden castle estranged

We both knew it was wrong to enter
Two curious kids looking for an adventure
Just thinking of it makes me shiver
By the thoughts of the eyes in the pictures

Eyes that seemed to follow
Forever dwelling
Vulnerable under our own shadow
Improper for story telling

This is not at all a fairyland
Or tales of nursery rhyme stories
I was scared and so I held your hand
But we found ourselves within its hidden glories.

IX. Silhouette
I am still lost among your ghost,
Caught between and lonely when I needed you the most.
The illusions of time is kept in the secrets where your own delusions sit.
Looking for the answers that were always there, it is released upon my soul as it wishes to see it.
Shadows of the dark consume you,
As the aura of light defines you.
There is a mystery in you; for you are a beautiful thing,
Knowing nothing about you, yet knowing everything.
Embodied within you deeply and purely,
Enraptured by your authenticity.
Timeless upon my emotions,
Oblivious in your creations.
Missing you throughout the years,
Leaving me bathed in tears.
You are the soul that exists between what is unexplained and what is reality,
Your existence continues to find itself wherever the origin of life and death reunite as one entity,
One being, one voice, one within one of the Immortal Realm...
Far beyond who and what we are that our imaginations; the heart of our minds, bodies, and souls cannot even contain.

X. Fireflies

Deep inside my brain I experienced tales of mystery within my own imagination. My body continued to hunger throughout the night. The dreams were vivid and nightmarish. Unearthly creatures began to unveil themselves. Spine-chilling and disturbing images haunted my mind. The next two nights were repetitious, I could feel my emotions being tortured but enticed. Undead creatures lured me into their behaviors, unto their darkness. I was terrified by its disturbing nature, but I couldn't help from feeling tempted by the wicked and somber atmosphere. I expected myself to feel helpless, but it was impossible for me to feel anything except the craving that now lived inside my bones.

Desires buried deep of extreme thirst and hunger. I was becoming a creature that I didn't recognize. Traveling throughout the forest, that I found myself allured to an unknown power; I struggled against a disadvantage to be human again. My bloodline screamed through me.

Folklore and its entire meaning spoke to me with its burnt native tongue. The presence of my ancestors were known, I could feel them there inside the woods and in my bones.

Everything that I was ever taught and passed down to me had become a new reality. The stories, the legends, the truth; found its way to me, I followed the path that attracted me there. Nocturnal territories lived inside the being that I had always known I was. In the heart of the moonlight, I became the undead.

I was paralyzed from the chill and grim hidden, forbidden evil of this motionless sleep. I was without pain, my heart was pounding out of my chest, if I hadn't felt the thumping pulsations; I would've thought that I had died.

The silent night was discontinued by the howls that could be heard all around me. This interim of death was wearing off. The darkness of night was lifted from me. From the moments of feeling like nothing, to the instance of knowing everything was wearing off; and I was waking up.

As I woke up, I felt like an evil sorcerer had died inside me. Much like watching a horror film inside my dreams, I waited for the undead to rise. Visions of a forbidden evil and magic were the awful crimes that lurked within my mind.

XI. Twilight

Disappearing into my own thoughts and wonders
Lost in the confessions I lost in the years behind me
Did little for the soul I became in the future
Savoring what was left of my insanity

I found my own destination without you
Denying my heart within lurking lies
Losing myself inside the illusion of truth
Waiting to live but wanting to die

We saved ourselves for the last time from the noose
Thunder Kissed in the Midnight Thunder, I was your Midnight Muse

XII. Midnight Thunder

Will the storm find its way to her in the Eve of Midnight,
Will the darkness cast shadows of her when the lightning strikes.

She starves for the sound of the thunder as it breaks,
She returns to her former soul as her spirit wakes.

Everlasting lightning in its kiss,
As it touches her forbidden lips.

A kiss of thunder is in the wind tonight,
Upon who she has become within the thunder at midnight.

XIII. Soul Seekers
As souls travel from place to place,
Our fears come face to face.

When time moves forward,
Those that pass through time,
They will be remembered,
By memories that are forever mine.

It is a connection that is within its own existence,
By the spirit's energies that intertwine,
Within no other greater experience,
From everything shared in between.

We glance only for a moment,
Into the world's truth,
Searching the past and the present,
For the time that was once upon our youth.

Seekers roam the earth in search of answers,
Only time will tell their secrets,
By those that are kindred dream catchers,
Of all the souls that we cannot forget.

XIV. The Human Within

A vampire's dream born from tragedy
A single drop of blood falls
Shadows form and muted mouths begin to speak
Unseeded visions seen in her crystal ball
In the ballroom they flock
Formally dressed and proper
She waits eagerly for the ticking of the clock
They all suddenly forget what they are there for
Where did she go when you saw her standing there
Was she there in the cold bitter rain of the night
Her eyes were black but you tried not to stare
She was a stranger but she was your light
The only the star that you ever knew to be right
Feelings you couldn't explain, didn't compare
Missing her as she disappeared into the night
Afraid of how she made you feel, you wouldn't dare
She slowly slipped away from your sight
Without a chance, neither of you aware
You remembered she kept your soul bright
She never knew you or that you cared
She didn't know that you were ever there
Watching her through the years night after night
The smell of her perfume and the red rose she wore in her hair
All that you will know now is her ghost light
Burning in your heart, your bones and everywhere
Will you see her in the dark again tonight
The curse is released as her mischievous tool
She never agreed to play by the rules
They came in thousands to be her fools
History tells of her secrets in legends
For thousands of years she dwelled unnoticed and untouched
There was no one she was born from, no beginning; no end
But she always knew of the night that would consume her lust
I feel so far away from me
I feel I am becoming someone else
I'm forgetting who I use to be
And everything that was wrong with me is fixing itself
I know exactly where I'm going but I have no idea where I've been
I can't remember anything about where I came from or who I was
All I ever wanted was to forget all the bad things that ever happened to me, to her
Only in her spirit world could she be with him
He was hurt and sad because he wanted her alive again
She took his hand, I don't have to be anyone else when I'm with you
This is the only way we can be together, otherwise it's not the same and it wouldn't be true
He closed his eyes hoping his love could keep her alive
But all the life in his world left from her eyes
He didn't know the things she could see
He didn't understand, he asked what do you want from me
She said all I want is you, I want it all, I want everything

XV. Thunder Kissed

Lighting strikes every time I think of you
Under your spell I do anything you want me to

Thunder crashes as it spells your name across the skies
Rain pours and I can hear your name within its cries

When I think of you the lighting strikes again
Thunder came and I felt your kisses across my skin

I told myself that I belonged to you
And that what I felt was your soul through the storms of truth

I begged the rain to fall upon me once again because it was your touch that I missed
The storm's lit up my soul forever and then I felt you even more through your Thunder Kiss

XVI. Moonlight

Hold me keep me in your embrace,
Let me see your beautiful face.
Touch my soul like it has never been touched before,
Have us within the ultimate dream upon the ocean shore.
Think of all the things that we can share,
I cannot wait to meet you there.
Hold my hand to let me know,
Face to face with the morning glow.

Leaving it all behind as we listen to the doves cry,
You'll never have to look back or ask me why.
After all the endless laughter and tears,
Know I have found you again throughout the years.
I have kept your picture within my locket,
And I have kept a lock of your hair in my pocket.
When our love is surrounded without lust,
Be still as the wind carries us like golden dust.

Unto eternity we are forever linked,
One last look before we have blinked.
To take one last look upon the earth,
But we refrain for heaven awaits our birth.

Thou has loved me in the future, present, and past,
Moments that are forever mine as our love will always last!
Ridding us from all the dark and shadows cast,
All left within the glory of the light it has.

I have always seen you in my eyes,
For our love holds only truth, not lies.

An Immortal kiss to know that we are alive,
Seeking a place to know that we have lived,
Doing what we loved as we lived our lives,
Being with the ones that kept us happy until there was nothing left to give!

With words so beautiful it will make you cry,
As true love and the beauty in our love will never die.

XVII. Midnight Muse

Listen when the Midnight Muse sings a song of true love's first kiss.
Hear the voices of the moonlight whisper sweet echoes of heaven in the dark for those that are chosen.
