The Tale Of Shalie Poem by tiffany fawcett

The Tale Of Shalie

She lies to her parents to protect her guilt
She lies to her boyfriend to protect their relationship
She lies to her friends to protect her sanity
She lies to herself to protect her innocence
She lies to God to protect her shame
But in reality, they all know she lies
They know she has those thoughts
The thoughts that tell her to just do it
Just pull the triger
But in the end... there's nothing anyone can do
She is lost to her dark side
The side that convinced her to just pull the triger
In the end the good guy always loses
And the bad guy always takes others down with him

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

When you lie so much that you lose who you really are, the easiest answer is always to end your many different lives. I really like the last two lines!
