The Sunflower And The Rose. Poem by Gary Hembree

The Sunflower And The Rose.

Rating: 5.0

The sunflower and rose, they dance to a rhythm that goes unforeseen by their clans men.
The sunflower and the rose, a love so strong yet must remain unspoken by law.
Should such love ever be discovered. it would be punished.
The sunflower and the rose, they dance in hopes they can spread seeds of their own.
The sunflower and the rose, united by love broken by their laws.
The sunflower and the rose, they sleep now never to speak of such love.

This is a very realistic poem.People judge and at the end of the day to love and be loved is the most important thing and whether others approve or not is neither here nor there its nobody's business. Love who you want to love indeed i totally agree.Well done Gary
