The Sun Might Shine Again Poem by David Harris

The Sun Might Shine Again

Rating: 5.0

See the raindrops fall,
the teardrops of the lord.
He is crying for all the souls,
whose lives have been stolen,
near and far away.
For all the lives
who will never see
the waking of another day.
The rain is also cleansing,
the blackness over everything,
so tomorrow,
the sun might shine again.

David, that is what happened my daddy died...it was raining, and then the sun came out, and also a rainbow...it was like god or my dad, was trying to tell me, cry no more...for i am at peace...you took me back a ways, an brought a tear to my eye. your poetry is so moving! Another 10! Blessings, Theo

Well it's bright and sunny and not a speck of humidty here yesterday and today..Like a late Spring day.....Interesting write, but it bothers me to think of rain being God's Tears...I believe it is a cleansing of sorts.....But just don't want to think that whenever it's rain, the one who resides where there are supposedly no more tears or sorrows, would be crying.....just my feeling.....marci.xo
