The Sudden End Poem by Ethan Allen

The Sudden End

Rating: 5.0

You stroke the metal
gently feel the end
you prayed for destruction
no longer you pretend
you grab a hold the bottle
its your only friend
scribble down your name

you crawl into the bathroom
expecting little pain
pull back on the hammer
clicking it in place
press the bottle to your lips
ready to quit the race
put your thumb upon the lever
and push it away
you put the product in your brain
and end your life today
