The Strings Of Heart Poem by Sagnik Chakraborty

The Strings Of Heart

Rating: 4.0

In my thoughts I forged a lyre
And softly fed it of my mind,
And tried to play many an air,
But lifeless was its kind.

With loving hands was strung the lyre
But no sonorous note would ring;
Now that the lyre broken lies,
The strings of heart shall sing.
