The Street Light Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The Street Light

Rating: 5.0

The street light is on,
The old beggar is sitting alone,
He goes to the brighter spot under the light,
It is his only faithful friend this time.
The beggar smiles and expresses his gratitude to it,
As it has brought true light in his dark life,
All other things may go away from him,
But he believes the street light is the perpetual companion of him.
