The Stray Dog Who Owns Me Poem by Hardik Vaidya

The Stray Dog Who Owns Me

He met me today morning,
Barked hey buds wassup?
Went in circles, mad as a cats cub,
pounced on my white shirt,
pawed my corporate inshirt.
Then with hungry eyes and teeth unbrushed,
told me, cheer up, my dear mutt
every dog has his day, dont be such a dumb skull.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Bholenath is the society street dog who lives free, i cannot accept the notion of owning this free spirit, i am quite sure he is the own who owns me, i am thankful to him for his company, which he provides at his own whim and fancy.
