The Story Of The Half Awakened Girl Poem by YOSRA BAIDI

The Story Of The Half Awakened Girl

Rating: 3.3

She spent her time sleeping
Playing singing and chatting
With friends about everything
But nothing was important, nonsense
This is how her life advances was
Selfishness and arrogance
drove her to hellish life,
One day she woke up and found herself
Crying, thinking anxiously of what a life
she left, she was boring staring
In her past life, which was the
NONSENSE
She woke up looked at the mirror
And a sudden voice said:
Wake up, wake up
It’s your time, it’s your choice
Don’t miss the opportunity
That god chooses you to be the once
Who would be welcomed by angels,
Who would be forgotten by devils,
Just be the one and forget your playful life
Start again the heaven’s life
That is a reward from the LORD
For not being a disobedient Muslim girl
She was afraid, who was speaking to the girl
The reason or the evil
She didn’t believe the wakening voice
She was nothing but a half awakened girl
She slept again and nothing happened
But dropping in the nonsense life
Forgetting about the LORD
and the message of GOD.
This is the story of the half awakened girl…

I liked this poem. Bear in mind stylistics. I think if you used the absurd style.

your narrative poetry is beautiful. simple with deep goals the thing i liked and was wondered about is that you did not mention her fate which is well-known to all. (9)
