The Storm Celebration Poem by Daniela Vill

The Storm Celebration

If you heard rain without seeing it,
you would thinkit was a calm but fast river.
If you saw rain without hearing it,
You would think the drops were tears of joy that,
someone wanted to share with the world.

Then when you experienced rain entirely,
you kindly ask if lightning could join.
After all a celebration isn't a celebration without lights.

Then when you experienced rain and lightning entirely,
you kindly ask if thunder could join.
After all a celebration isn't a celebration without music.

And after you have danced with,
the rain,
the lightning,
and the thunder,
you lay on the grass.

Then the sun starts to come out,
and blankets you with warmth.
You start to smile because,
you know,
that another celebration is about to start...
