The Storm Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

The Storm

Rating: 5.0

Storm
Forms slowly
Gathers strength
Keeps on growing
Trying to be
Large
Larger than
All the ones
Recorded before
Making effort
To topple
All structures
Small and large
Uprooting trees
Stirring the seas
With mighty blasts
Of whirling winds
Pouring rains
Joining
Sky and earth
There seems to be
No respite...

For all of us
Questions arise
Will this intensity
Continue long?
Will life on earth
Survive the storm?
Past history
Is on our side
There'll be effect
There'll be harm
But no storm
Will last very long
After the storm
There'll be calm
Let us stay cool
And rebuild again.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

After every ferocious storm, there is going to be a pleasant morning of brilliant sunlight. That is life. Great, Sir.

Yes, storms will rage, but calm will reign! Let us wait patiently for the storm to subside. A 10
