The Spider She Stalked Poem by Michael Reston

The Spider She Stalked

the spider she stalked
like men are from mars
the way as she talked
of the surrogate stars

with the conscience of Venus
and the smile of Nefertiti
with the Gaul of a sailor
values Norman and Brit's

chaste light we surrounded by
darkness gives no escape
at the moment of fight
sultry images night covers faded sunrise...

n'est ce qui qu'elle se donc avec l'amour
mais peut etre la liason est dangereuse
comme le garcons de quoi j'etais frais
ma belle mere n'est pas besoin enchantee

As I digest the world of anchored stars
the web of traveled comets -
enclosed in spider's blistered body domain
It fills universe with delusion and magic
perpetual actions and fate
