The Soul Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The Soul

Rating: 5.0

I silence the soul
Respond no to call
Keep mind at rest]
Think nice and to the best

Time comes
When one thinks
How to remain happy!
And keep always ready

When you seem to be quiet
All good thoughts are let
To suggest and ponder
Over the worries and surrender

There is no desire
Almost peace sans fire
No jealousy or revenge
For no one in any age

I observed and kept in mind
The human mind is unkind
Thinks of reprisal strategy
Spring surprise when opponent is not ready
