**the Song That Was Never Sung Poem by Bonnie Collins

**the Song That Was Never Sung

Rating: 2.8

Inside the walls of your heart is where
I will always be my love, no matter how
far away your life has taken you and the
avenues inwhich you have traveled, always
I was inside of you

Walking in the sand on a very breezy
summer's day with the waves rushing ashore,
the type of days we always loved the best, watching
the gulls race against the waves to catch their prey, as
you walk, the pair of footsteps beside yours was mine

Going through times of sadness and dispair, with the
empty walls around you, alone and dealing with a grieving
heart, out of nowhere, I found you, the comfort of me waltzed
through your heart at a time that only we both new, however I
had to leave, my job was done, and now you must walk alone
Hold your head higher than your heart and not look back, but
rather hold in your heart the moments we each knew would
forever be sacred

Always my love, always I will be somewhere watching
for you, holding you near to my heart, with the vacancy
sign turned off

Please, my love, stay well and know, our love was never
forsaken, only robbed of the hourglass inwhich it harbored
Your face shadowed with yesterdays smile, will forever
remain in my heart along with the song that was never sung.....

Bonnie, heard melodies are sweet, those unheard still sweeter, but your composition is the sweetest. CP

This is really beautiful Bonnie, fantastic imagery. I felt that I was there with you. If PH would let me vote it would be a certain 10. Love, Andrew xx
