The Snowman Poem by Gary Fellows

The Snowman

Long cold winter
Long cold heart
The Snowman is thawing
Like hopes melting away

This Snowman is left
That I built with the kids
A statue left over
While they are now gone

He stands to attention
Day after day
The Snowman looks bright
In his hat and his scarf

Like memories reminding
Marking good times
Snowman made that day
All but to fade away
