I stand and wait for you to arrive
It seems I have been waiting for ever
Waiting to hear your voice
Feel your radiance, your touch

And then I see you
Walking towards me
Smiling…radiating happiness

Everything else ceases to exist
All I see is you
Smiling…radiating joy

And then you speak to me
Your soft voice wiping my fears
Soothing my heart
Like each word kissing my face

I don’t speak
I am speechless
You keep taking
Your soft tender lips is all I see
You look at me
Smile again
I surely believe that a smile can
Win the world for you
You smiling…radiating success

I hold your hand
Soft and comforting
Your unsure hands hold me softly
Giving me warmth
Giving me peace
Giving me strength
Giving me love

I look at those eyes
Your deep black eyes
Encompassing and ocean
Full of love
Full of compassion

Now you don’t talk
Only your eyes do
They speak of commitment
Of innocence
Of everlasting love

And stars sparkle
Upon that smile
You smiling…radiating eternal love.
