The Silver Lining Poem by Ayesha RP.

The Silver Lining

Not everyone's happy from within,
Sometimes, that's just a mere illusion

Her beautiful sparkling eyes,
Are home to countless lies

Her cheerful personality and vibrant smile,
Is all just part of one big disguise

For that is a way to hide her sorrow and tears,
The pain she has been going through all these years

But every dark cloud has a silver lining,
And I tell you solemnly; one day, she will be smiling.

A well articulated piece of poetry, nicely penned with insight. Indeed, one day she will be smiling, since tough times never last but tough people do. A lovely narrative of a strong lady that has learnt to take things and situations in stride. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
