The Sights And Sounds Of Christmas Poem by Marilyn Lott

The Sights And Sounds Of Christmas

I love to walk down the sidewalk in town
When it's nearly Christmas time
December is such a busy month
The stores so crowded, I find.

Tinkling bells and charming Santa's
With bright red hats on their heads
Dark time now, so early it seems
Little children tucked in their beds.

Kitchens are busy and so fragrant
Cookies warm and sweet
Chocolate fudge and eggnogs
They are all such scrumptious treats.

Perhaps I painted a picture for you
That might not fit many of us
But just think about the simple beauty of
The sights and sounds of Christmas!

Very nice, and the picture validates everything. The big red M must stand for Marilyn!
