The Shore Poem by Varghese Kuncheria

The Shore

Rating: 3.5

Come to the lovely down
The golden sands are lien
Amidst lichen hills beset
Barren but sparkling yet.

The way to the sandy shore
Lay in blissful majesty
The palms on sides did node
As I strolled along the way.

Shining as scarlet screen
Was the shore so serene
My thoughts dazzling away
In the twilight of the day.

How I wish my days to be
Youthful as it once to be
But the life as given to me
Is destined as it's to be.
