The Shiny One Poem by Meth Sambiase

The Shiny One

Unbeliever
she tried to scrape
as a porcupine
casts after caste
the gravity cracked by her sea of eyes
and she bent him in a turn
and the crazy suits they followed her
bandaging her legs in purple
the handmaid of the papers of hearts,
aroused in a spring of rapids rain.
The bed orgy
of perfumes of pesto and skin,
reached her in a suspended mirror:
yet it didn't belong to her old faces,
visionary daughter peacock,
fluctuating mother,
venere lover:
she was in love.

LUCIDA.

Incredula
provava a scrostare
come un porcospino
scaglia dopo scaglia
visionaria
figlia pavone,
madre fluttuante,
venere amante:
era in amore.
