The Separation: A Short Tale Poem by Aaryan Irani

The Separation: A Short Tale

In the dark hall,
both dance
to the aria
of silence
one, a man of flesh and blood
the other,
a soul of the deceased
holy hosts
swirl around
as tears
flow down
and the soul ascends;
leaving a lifeless corpse behind
knowing that love,
would soon kill her beloved too.
